A highly successful season with both sides winning every competition they entered with the exception of the F.A.Womens Cup. The first team have now gained four successive league titles, and next season will be competing in the South West Combination League, (just one step away from National League football) where they will be taking on numerous teams affiliated to professional clubs, i.e. Luton Town, Queens Park Rangers, and several others.
The Reserves (Development Squad) will also be facing stronger opposition next season having gained promotion into Division 1 of the Cornwall Women's League. The effort and commitment shown by the girls from both squads has been tremendous. The first team squad has traveled in excess of four thousand miles during the current season, on occasions leaving at nine in the morning and not getting back until nine at night. They never complain and are a pleasure to be involved with.
The Development Squad has also shown great maturity over the year for such a young side. They are by far and away the youngest side in the League, but they were never intimidated by the bigger and older teams, just got on and let their football do the talking. Both sides are now eagerly awaiting the new challenges that await them next season

HONOURS:
* League Champions
* League Cup Winners
* Division 1 Cup Winners
* Cornwall County Cup Winners
This season the team moved up the ladder to compete in the South West Counties League, with the newly formed reserve side continuing in the Cornwall Women’s League. This involved much more traveling with games as far a field as the other side of Bristol and Weymouth. The team continued its success at this higher level becoming the first side in the League’s history to achieve the treble and gain a second successive promotion. The Cornwall County Cup was won for the third year running with a stunning 13-2 success against Cornwall League winners St Austell. The squad eagerly looked forward to the new challenge. The newly formed reserve side struggled to come to terms in the early part of the season but gradually put some fine performances together.

2001 - 2002 The SECOND season |
HONOURS:
* League Champions
* League Cup Winners
* Cornwall County Cup Winners
The second season started with four new players in the squad. The first match was away to the previous year’s double winners, Marazion, with Newquay gaining a 3-0 win. The hard work put in at training showed dividends with the team going from strength to strength and having an excellent second year. In January Newquay had the opportunity to play against the Australian Wanderers, a select side from New South Wales. In front of a crowd of some 300 spectators Newquay enjoyed a 8-2 victory.
The League was won with a 100% record, scoring 125 goals and conceding just 5. The Cornwall County Cup and the League K.O. Cup were also won, Newquay being the first side to complete the treble, their only reverse being a 3-2 FA Cup defeat at Dorchester.

2000 - 2001 The FIRST season |
HONOURS:
* League Cup Runner Up
Newquay Ladies football team was formed in June 2000 after a few ladies, who were regulars at Mount Wise, showed an interest in forming their own team. A meeting was arranged at Newquay Football Club and the initial response was quite good. Training was arranged and after a couple of sessions it was decided to apply to join the Cornwall Women’s Football League. The club was accepted into the League and training started in earnest. After a couple of friendly fixtures the season began. Newquay’s first ever league match saw them gain a comfortable 11-0 win at home to Falmouth. The ladies then had to wait until December to gain their next points – a 4-3 win away at Penryn. Newquay had a good run in the League Cup and reached the final losing 3-1 to Marazion. The players thoroughly enjoyed their first season and an excellent team spirit emerged. Inspired with the desire to improve, they decided to train twice a week during the summer break. The team had a good first season, finishing mid table with the result that, when the League divided, their second year saw them in Division I.
